I noticed that there was some discussion of this issue of the X briefly appearing before the Twitter icon in this issue:
#356
It also looks like a commit attempting to fix it was made there, but I'm still seeing the issue in Chrome. The X appears and then quickly gets replaced. Thanks so much for taking a look at this and your work on the project! 😊🏅
