Species detail screen does no load photos and info

When moving between different species detail screens using similar species, on the second or third one, it loads only the name (first screenshot). moving between different species detail pages on my observations and species nearby then produces text and data but no photo (second screenshot). and after a few more times going back and forth between species nearby and my observations and clicking into different species detail pages, it goes back to normal. not sure why this is happening.
