Discrepancies between explainer and spec

"The explainer mentions that unsupported joints will return null from the joint getter, but the spec says they must be emulated instead. I assume the spec is the source of truth (consider updating the explainer)."
The explainer is out of date here
@Manishearth I don't see this in the explainer any more. Can we close this?
