Hi,

I'm looking into the tunnel executor and I'm noticing of using OBJECT as "tunnel". There is a particularly reason reason why we should use ip tunnel instead clasic ip link add XXX type TTTT ?

Yes, it has settings that ip link cannot set.

Could you please give me some settings that ip tunnel can set and ip link doesn't? Maybe there are changes from the moment of the ifupdown-ng tunnel executor was release and today.
