Unhandled exception when editing favorite server

Version: 9.52

I'm consistently receiving an Unhandled Exception error when I right click a server in my Favorite Servers list, and I click Edit server. This also occurs when I select the server in the list, and click the Edit button at the bottom of the window. I made sure to restart the program so it's in a fresh, unconnected state.

Edit: This appears to be happening for every server in my Favorite servers list, except for one (with a label/no internet address).

For the 1 server that it is not erroring on, is this server at the top or bottom of the list?

How many do you have in the list, and was this error new in 9.52 and not in 9.51 ?

I currently have 7 servers, 6 were displaying the issue. I upgraded to 9.52 recently after not having used it for a period of time when I started experiencing the issue. FWIW, I deleted the one server I needed to edit and created a new entry which works fine. Here's an example of a server that isn't working:

Could I suggest perhaps that you rename the IceChatServer.xml file, restart IceChat , add 1 server, and see if the problem comes back? I am working on a fix to catch this error, you can come to #icechat on Quakenet to give it a try.

This also just happened to me when I tried out IceChat in Win10 for the first time in many years. Brand new clean install, no pre-existing prefs. I went through the initial wizard, selected a nick, entered a server. Then I right clicked on the server I'd added (irc.twit.tv) to edit it and make sure everything else was as I like. And got this:

Oh, and one other minor oddity: the IceChat installer didn't add it's icon to the quick launch bar, despite me selecting that.
