Hebrew script question

If these fonts do not contain Hebrew characters, then in what font does iA Writer display Hebrew characters?
Received the following response when I inquired via email about how the iA Writer app handles characters for which no glyph exists in the iA fonts:
At this time none of our apps are optimized for RTL languages, including Hebrew. This means:
The font shown in the Editor will be a fallback font, determined by your system.
The font shown in rendered documents (Preview pane) is determined by the CSS for a given template. For the built-in iA templates, this follows the same fallback to the system cascade for any fonts our app is not optimized for.
