Am not able to install the fonts in OSX High Sierra

Looks like it complaints that serious damage will happen to the computer if I install them and when I tried to override it nothing happened. I also tried copying the fonts to the Fonts OSX directory directly and also double clicking them - Fonts Book does not recognise them at all. I wonder if there is a fix for this or if there is anyone else with the same problem.
I have the same problem.
Well,… fonts are software, so things like this can happen. I know you might be looking for a different solution but I'd really recommend to try a font manager like FontExplorer, FontBase or something similar.
Any font installed via Mac OS Font Book will be always on. If you have a lot of fonts it may slow down your system by a good amount. A font manager will activate and deactivate fonts if you need / don’t need them.
I'm using iA Fonts as my standard font in Mail – activated via FontExplorer – no issues.
Hope this helps.
Ulysses App doesn't see new iA Fonts
Another great feature font managers (at least FontExplorer) have:
Cear font caches.
Which actually could solve your problem with Ulysses.
I think if I need to use third-party font managers to see installed fonts something wrong with fonts
@kdamianakis
brew cask reinstall font-ia-writer-duospace
if you have already the fonts or
brew cask install font-ia-writer-duospace
can help
oh, sorry
first: brew tap homebrew/cask-fonts
you're welcome! :)
Okay, fixed some issues that might be related. Please update.
