Do you plan to support cashtags, i.e. $tag?

I hadn't but I could, it should be a simple addition. Is the format normally $ABCD or does it include lowercase too? Just a-z or numbers? Can you give me some real world examples? Can you give me some context about your needs too (it might help me make decisions).
