Nokia OLT to read data from ONU

Hi!

I’m conducting a small thought experiment, I want to ask experts for advice about the possibility of doing this:

What if I don’t know the data of my ONU and I want to run the Nokia (or any other brand OLT) SFP module in OLT mode to read the data of the client device. Will it work? In case with regular NIC, without special OLT switch.
