Want Alt + F4 to close programs

1. ok haven't tried to plug in a manual keyboard yet but...
on my last cheapo tablet (Double Power or DoPo)it had a real keyboard and Alt
F4 would close (most or all) programs. With your soft keyboard
(I have both settings set and Hacker is my default keyboard) this has no
effect. (nextbook is my current cheapo tab, model nx008hd8g Android 4.1.1
kernel 3.0.8)
I'm thinking because HK only operates on input boxes. Any way to have it appear
when I want, to input to the tablet os and not just an input box?
2. could you consider adding .com to the left shift menu so we have the "@" and
the ".com" on one keyboard? eg i could so live without the tilde "~"
Thank you for your great efforts!

There's a setting "Use permanent notification" in Hacker's Keyboard Settings >
Input mode settings, you can then tap the notification to open the keyboard.
Not sure if this will make Alt-F4 work as expected, and it seems a bit clunky
in practice. On newer Android system you can swipe apps to the side in the
"recent apps" popup to close them.
