British English spellchecker views some abbreviations as mistakes

In the British English spellchecker, abbreviated words like won’t, doesn’t, can’t are being higlighted, as if they were incorrect spelling.
This is not a problem in the US English dictionary.
This is typically an issue for the dictionary rather than hunspell itself. You'll have to chase down where your dictionary is coming from, there's a few en_GB versions out there. My one from fedora (hunspell-en-GB-0.20140811) doesn't seem to suffer from this problem.
