Notifications not working in Android Webview

Hello,
I have set up my HumHub and it seems working fine. I created an Android Webview app for it and it is working fine. Then I added your module to be able to receive push notifications. Unfortunately I am not getting any push notifications.
Can you direct me to how I can debug this? What things should I be looking at to identify the reason for which the push notifications are failing me?
