Vertically scrolling sidebar menu immediately collapses it on iOS - Safari and Chrome

When I open the sidebar menu in Safari, and I try to scroll down the menu to see if there are any items that are below, the sidebar immediately collapses/hides the sidebar menu.
Also it looks like the font in "AWESOME" at the top is not correct.
