Assist mode label is triggered even if you exit without an option turned on

As seen in this playthrough (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GpP5v1hBCQE&t=3m39s at 3:39), turning an option on and then off in the assist mode window does turn on the assist mode label for the rest of the game.

I should check if the player actually exits the assist mode window with an option turned on to make sure this label doesn't appear.
