Syntax error for (

I get a syntax error for ( in ordinary text:
\section{Structure of this work}
\label{sec:structure}
abc (asf) sf
^
The pdf renders right so I think this should not be an issue. Note that I'm using UTF-8 in my latex sources (and also configured latex correspondingly).
I think this issue duplicates #14 . If this is fixed already, this issue can be closed.
