Cloud providers are starting to offer ARM instances which are cheaper per core than Intel/AMD x86.

However:

  • Need to set up autobuild of vbrowser for ARM
  • Chrome is not currently available for ARM--Chromium is but this comes with widevine content issues
  • May be more cost effective to set up large ARM instances and use the Docker VM Manager
