Git Branch PS1

You will need Deja Vu San Mono font selected in your terminal to see special characters:

git clone https://github.com/powerline/fonts.git powerline-fonts
cd powerline-fonts
sudo bash install.sh

Then edit your terminal preferences and select Deja Vu San Mono font.

Clone this repot to ~/.bash folder:

~/.bash
cd ~/.bash
git clone https://github.com/hoto/git-branch-ps1.git

Include in your ~/.bashrc at the bottom:

export GIT_BRANCH_PS1=~/.bash/git-branch-ps1
source ${GIT_BRANCH_PS1}/ps1.sh
