Annoyances in firmware archives

Upgrading the firmware, I found out many easy to fix minor annoyances in the 
archive. Since they're all very minor, I'll just list them below rather than 
create a bug for each.

- Lots of repeated readme files. (many v4upgrades.txt with more or less !s and 
the same text inside)
- Readme doesn't have actual upgrade instructions (what to do to upgrade).
- Many filenames start with or contain '!', which needs to be escaped '\!' in 
bash.
- No source code for the upgrader tool.
