This is finals week for me in college so I am a little slow to respond.
This is a theme conflict where your theme is poorly coded (can tell by the extremely long load time) and it makes it where it breaks something in myContest. I have made myContest to work with every theme, however, poorly coded themes cannot be stopped from breaking any plugin no matter how well it is coded. I would try changing themes and see what happens.
