DAC2 HD + DSP HIGH PITCHED NOISE ON PAUSE

screamnAbdab opened this issue · comments

Describe the bug
High pitched 2 to 3 second tone intermittently plays after pausing music. I was able to reproduce this somewhat reliably using the steps below. When I get a chance, I will also test the new 64 bit os just released.

HiFiBerryOS version
20230404

HiFiBerry sound card
DAC2 HD + DSP Module

** DSP Version**
Version 13

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. On android phone, connect to hifiberry via bluetooth
  2. on phone, navigate to https://www.audiocheck.net/audiotests_frequencychecklow.php
  3. Scroll down to The Test File
  4. Play the "10-200 Hz Sweep + Voice Over" file, randomly pausing the file and refreshing the page to replay the file from the beginning. My experience tells me that you should only need to repeat this behavior a handful of times before the high pitch is heard.

Expected behavior
No high pitched tone should be played.
