Say at the beginning what we will get

OK, now we have advanced to this step:
Your Email address (for notifications, optional)
 (will be deleted after1 hours)
and we start to wonder: right from step one we never were told what we could expect.
A permanent URL like on Google My Maps, or heywhatsthat.com, that we could share with friends.
Or some one time PNG that we need to copy to disk and send to friends.
OK, I created

So the first page of the website should say how long to expect that URL to be valid.
How long the rendered results will stay available for download depends on available disk size and rendering activity.
Right now the oldest results still available are about 10 weeks old. As the service is mostly meant for creating printable PDF for immediate use. The full result page with all the download links is easily accessible using the https://.../maps/...job_id... URL, e.g.:
https://print.get-map.org/maps/197936
(print.get-map.org and maposmatic.osm-baustelle.de are actually the same server, the shorter name came later as the original one was definitely too long and too german-specific)
The individual files do not have such easy URLs, but I should think of adding shortcuts like:
https://print.get-map.org/maps/197936.png
When result files are purged the preview thumbnail is supposed to be left intact, and it is at any time possible to re-create files using the [Recreate] button on a result entry.
(Unfortunately older thumbnails got lost during a server crash in March this year, so that's how far they are back they are visible on result pages only).
