a way to select which taxonomy under what post type get effected? I have a taxonomy shared with 3 post types. On one; I need them as radio buttons but other post type; I need that to be regular checkbox. Any way to do make this work?

apparently https://wordpress.org/plugins/select-all-categories-and-taxonomies-change-checkbox-to-radio-buttons/ does provide this. but it seems pretty rare to me.

This still sounds not that practical. If you have a taxonomy that is shared across post types... it doesn't make sense to me that 1 term would be allowed in Post Type A and multiple terms would be allowed for Post Type B. If it's the case that the classification is that different, should you really be using the same taxonomy?
