Emojis on macOS Chrome/Firefox

Description
The emoji picker is empty on macOS, when using Chrome/Firefox. Curiously it works with Safari…
Expected behavior
Emojis visible
Your Setup (please complete the following information):
- macOS 12
- macOS 11
I played around with this and it seems the problem lies with tweemoji. If I deactivate the tweemoji-font in the browsers dev tools, I see emojis again (of course not the intended ones, but better than nothing I guess).
