while(true){}; freezes up engine

Not sure there's much we can or should do, but just adding it here
Not sure there's much we can do here without incurring a performance overhead. But maybe some overhead!(limiting the number of computations per frame) is worth it. But I'm not inclined to support that just yet - if it's a problem in practice we can deal with it then?
