Tapping the zoom button creates a note

When I short-tap on the zoom buttons: the map zooms, an empty note is created at the new center, and the note controls appear. The app otherwise works as usual: I press Delete and continue to browse the map.

Steps to reproduce

  • Enable the zoom buttons.
  • Enable the long-tap to create a note.
  • Short-tap the zoom buttons.

Additional context
This does not happen with the compass.

I am 100% sure that I am not tapping outside the zoom button.

Version
1.6.0 from F-droid, on Android 11 and Android 7.1.

Hi, thanks for reporting this issue. It's already known and actually a bug in the underlying map framework not handling tap-events correctly. A fix on their code is underway but not available yet. See #104 for details (I therefore close this one since it's a duplicate).
