hi all,

boot_command     = ["<esc><wait>preseed/url=http://{{ .HTTPIP }}:{{ .HTTPPort }}/preseed.cfg<enter>"] - not working, error : no such file or directory

working with auto url=

boot_command     = ["<esc><wait>auto url=http://{{ .HTTPIP }}:{{ .HTTPPort }}/preseed.cfg<enter>"]

Hi @LAD-PHP,

This looks more like a quirk of the distribution you're using than a proper Packer bug.

Out of curiosity which distribution is it?

Given this is not a Packer bug (the tool still exposes the preseed file through HTTP, which is what it is supposed to do), I'll close this issue, but feel free to reopen it if I missed something.

Thanks

HI @lbajolet-hashicorp, debian 10-12 netinst, also test on ubuntu 14, same ptoblem
