[FEAT] Write a conceptual introduction to bots

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
I still don't understand
- What some concepts you mention mean.
- What are the differences between Discord and other conversational systems like Slack, Mattermost or Telegram (or WhatsApp, whose API has very recently been released)
Describe the solution you'd like
A chapter, or part of the introduction, with a technical introduction to bots and how these concepts translate specifically to Discord. It would be also interesting where's the boundary between generic bot concepts, and specific Discord configurations.
Describe alternatives you've considered
Illustrations would be nice, as well as code (preferably in well known languages) examples.
