Less activity in 2020 on Flink-Siddhi (and also on Siddhi) than in 2019

I find Siddhi very interesting but i am concerned with the lack of recent activity, is there less activity because both project are stable ? Is this project future proof ?
I also search for the best "orchestrator" for Siddhi. What's the advantages of Siddhi/Flink over WSO2 EI ? Is there any other option ?
