CRM Investigation using component design.

This is an investigation on how we can build decoupled components within Elixir to build assemblies (we can’t use the term applications as they have other meanings within Erlang/Elixir).

The premise

Build a set of components and bring them together to build custom CRM’s for each domain. For example, this repository is looking at building an education CRM system. The CRM is designed to be used by education organizations, looking to manage:

Teachers

Students

Lessons

Attendance

Parents

Messaging

Finance

Reporting

Events

Calendar

Use components to build other CRM’s

We could take some of the above components and build a CRM for a charity, building specific components, for example:

Donation

Projects

Messaging

Events

Calendar

Leads

Foundation

Inspiration

Inspiration to build applications this way has come from a few talks Dave Thomas has been giving for the past couple of years.
