Sometimes has slow reaction when it is running in background

When it is working in background (the app is closed) it doesn't always react on time with the sound for the pressed keyboard key. When it is open and stays in the taskbar, this problem doesn't appear.
I think this might be due to the fact this is an electron app. The pseudo tab is probably going to sleep while in the background. For me, it fairly quickly catches up after a few seconds of typing.
Do I agree with you that this is annoying? absolutely. But I think it's a limitation of the technology that was used to build this app.
