Builds are failing since 3.x. Experimental "testing the waters" users often do drive-by testing using jitpack.
Not familiar with jitpack. Smile is built with SBT. Looking at the log, it seems not using sbt. BTW, why do "testing the waters" users need to build by themselves. Smile is available in maven.
I am so used to out-of-date releases being on maven central, I was happy to be wrong in this case!
