Did the fonts changed?

Hello everyone,

after reinstalling CM I have different fonts than before. Can someone explain if this is intended?

Screenshot from 2024-03-12 20-37-27

Here is a comparable screenshot from the web: https://www.drivingitalia.net/uploads/monthly_2022_05/image.png.55f3b97d968637ecf527205e6f61f7b4.png

The cars model name for example looks different.
What font should be used for that?

Thanks for help.

I run CM on Linux

There is some kind of bug with upgrading recent versions of proton/wine if you use manually added fonts. I haven't figured out what it is exactly but you can delete the "Times New Roman" keys from HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Wine\Fonts\Replacements as shown in the screenshot which clears it up. This seems to be permanent from what I can tell.

I don't believe this is a Content Manager issue.

EDIT: P.S. You have to install the fonts from the fonts.zip file linked in the CM install docs as well, but I believe those are overridden by the registry keys above even if you do have them installed. So if this is a fresh install with a clean pfx then definitely start by making sure those extra fonts are installed.

Thank you for your help. This (I just renamed the Replacement key) fixes the problem:

I should have searched the web for wine and fonts instead of Content Manager and font problem. Then I might have found https://wiki.winehq.org/Font_Replacements.
Interesting thing is that I don't see where arch Linux is adding those replacements in the package, but that's what I can check later.
