If we're hiding detected fields we should tell people why

If we're hiding detected fields (sometimes they appear in a loading state, and then disappear) we should tell people why - e.g. an info panel at the bottom of the page could say something like, 4 fields were hidden with a way to view details. E.g. maximum of series (15000) reached for a single query. Maybe a little Why link that shows the list of errors?
We agree it's potentially confusing, but we're unsure on what would be the way to communicate this to users: where and what.
Maybe we can get some UX support for this? @zizzpudding
