Low contrast: my example, part 1

I’m making Unicodia, encyclopedia of Unicode characters. I use Google Noto: this set is both free and has sort of contrast. It’s strange: all major developers except weird OpenMoji and non-free Apple/JoyPixels make low-contrast images that are meant to be small and recognizable on every background!

Here are emoji I was forced to remake because of low contrast.

The list is incomplete, I’m listing only those I actually remade. Did not check new hands of 2022 though, I still use old ones — probably same problems, otherwise posterized wide-angle hands are really cool! You have made a wonderful goose 🪿 recently, I’d like to see the same to swan and dove!
