Clear current data

The "Clear current data" button in the mini-WTF-UI in the lower right does not seem to do anything. It should clear all WTF data when the button is pushed, right? It appears to not do this, leaving all data present when the "Send to UI" button is pressed.
Anyone? I get this too.
