Documentation confusing

What versions of WordPress and Geo Mashup are you using?

For a feature request, describe the feature. For problems:
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. geo-mashup 1.0.1
2. wordpress 2.1.2
3.

What is the expected behavior? What do you see instead?

I've got the plugin working but to be honest I'm just confused by the
directions for using geo-mashup.

How exactly do I make a post with a map that has info I specify into the map.

It sounds like you need clarification about what the plugin does. The 
description on
the project home page says it "Plots your posts on a master Google map with 
summaries
in the info window. A map page presents a Google Map representation of your 
blog. It
can show all posts with coordinates, or one category at a time. Each post 
marker's
pop-up balloon window contains a summary of the post. The entire post can 
optionally
be displayed on the map page."

Maybe you didn't see this? Or if it is not clear, what needs to be changed?

Haven't heard back. I do plan to add a bullet list of main features on the 
project
page, maybe this will help.
