Your MacBook's battery is failing or has failed probably due to its age. It is unrelated to the app.
No, it’s the app. The app corrupted my smc software. Y’all should not be charging money if your product can ruin someone’s computer. My battery is fine by the way. Have some back bone and take responsibility for your poorly written code.
I think you are talking about AlDente. This app, charge limiter, is free.
My mistake about cost. But everything else remains the same.
Honestly I've never had any issues with this app nor have I received other reports. I would try following these steps to reset your SMC to see if it helps. If it doesn't then its probably a hardware issue.
try nvram reset and smc reset
