Living Frigate got stuck at A class due to editing number of missions

thisplantguy opened this issue · comments

I really wish I had a better or more accurate explanation, but I tried to edit the number of expeditions or missions that my A class frigate went on. However, in doing so, I believe that I somehow broke the natural progression to S class. I have since sent the frigate out many, many more times, but it is stuck on A Class, and is the first time I've run into this issue with a living frigate. Unfortunately, I dismissed the frigate from my fleet so I don't have any hard evidence of this. But just in case anyone else has run into this, I figured I'd submit an issue. Please remove this if there's no way to reproduce the issue.

What makes a frigate/organic s class is the traits they have, just add all 5 positive traits and also edit the stats to 50 then you will have a s class

I'm afraid that doesn't seem to be the case. I found another C class living frigate this morning, saved my game after it was in my fleet, and used the Save Editor. I'll attach screenshots of what I see in my game versus what the save editor shows. Note that I didn't change the stats to 50 since none of my existing natural S class frigates have that high of stats.

My bad-- one last update. I decided to try the other commenter's advice and add 50 to all of the main stats, and yet the frigate is still stuck at C class.

Based on this information from one of the NMS wikis, you've manually triggered the known frigate glitch, or perhaps hired a glitched frigate from the outset. Try adjusting down the number of completed missions to match the level of the ship, then complete some to force the level-up?
