Multiline Comments? I Must be doing something wrong.

Friends -

I must be doing something wrong. I cannot seem to add Markdown or even a line break to a comment in Jira using gojira.... I am trying to do it via command-line using the -m option with --noedit but I would assume I can still comment a multiline string no?
