Installation instructions for Ubuntu / Debian based systems

Sorry if this isn't the right place to put this...
Just came across this project, and I was shocked to find there was no install instructions for Ubuntu. I'm sort of new-ish to Linux, and I'm running Pop!_OS. I came to this installing page and noticed instructions for Nix, asdf, Arch, FreeBSD, OpenBSD, and Void, but nothing debian or ubuntu based. I tried installing with apt-get, flatpak, and snap, and all of those failed. I'm sure I can build from source, but it would be neat if there was a section at least labeled "Ubuntu/Debian" that mentions "Use asdf or build from source".

fwiw, you're on the right path there. most linux peeps use asdf to manage their gleam installation. :)
