Port to Free Pascal

Hello, @gkathire.
What do you think to port wxVCL to Free Pascal and Lazarus ? We actually have LCL which is a free implementation of VCL. I really think the community would enjoy a port of wxWidgets.

I think an open source technology is more appropriate to make work with free software.

wxVCL is a library in C++ that mimics some of the functions we have in Delphi / Lazarus; so there is no point in porting it back to free pascal. Given that, I have a commercial product that I haven't maintained for a long time which is a wrapper of wxWidgets (not a port) see http://twinforms.com/products/wxformsdelphi/index.php , I'll see if I can make it opensource, please contact me offline and we can talk about it.
