Note that @gitster commented the following about the previous edition, which might be useful to find articles to write for this edition:

We may see more discussion on improving workflows to work on Git.

There is a talk to allow patch authors to propose the summary of the topic to appear in the release notes.

To make it easier to find who to ask for help, using a more formal mechanism is being proposed.

I'd like to recommend, among other links, re:bass by Dylan Beattie - an original music composition inspired by the Git version control system. Less than 5 minutes long, worth IMVHO listening and watching.
