Proposed detector for software jargon

I had the opportunity to use the gender-bias tool to evaluate teams' online communications during software development. While the tool provided some positive results, words commonly used during software development, such as "parent" and "class" confused the tool. I would like to extend the tool to incorporate technical terms, enabling the tool to generate results that avoid these terms.

I understand we can extend the gender-bias tool through detector configuration file. I am working with a team to address the changes and filing these issues to help track our contribution to this project.
