Currently preparing a PR, but during the installation I run into issues with Kickstarter.

I'am entirely new to centos and thus Kickstarter, only working with pressed for debian. Not sure I can fix those.

I tried to use the minimal boot iso to avoid downloading the 9.3GB DVD on each later build, is that the actual reason here?

Sadly, I don't really have interest in supporting centos8 / stream since Red Hat's decision to nuke that community. I've switched to Rocky Linux for all my work, though I don't believe I've taken the time to work on a vagrant box for it yet...
