Starlink not communicating

I am trying to connect a Starlink dish to use the additional dashboard for monitoring. However, I am unable to get it to connect. Does the Pi need to be connected to the wireless provided by the Starlink system to be able to pull the data?
I have the Starlink router bypassed, having a FortiGate in line instead for an IPsec tunnel back to my main office. Would this prevent the exporter from working properly?
If I need to connect wirelessly on the Starlink modem, would connecting the cable connection to my Fortigate for dual LAN also prevent the data from populating and allowing me to hit the data via secondary IP?
