AVR Dude Error when flashing

Hi when trying to flash using the spark fun AVR pocket programmer it can't seem to see the board. When using the following command:

avrdude -C /Users/benfysh/Library/Arduino15/packages/ATTinyCore/hardware/avr/1.5.2/avrdude.conf -c usbtiny -p t841

I get the following error:

avrdude: Device signature = 0x000000
avrdude: Yikes!  Invalid device signature.
         Double check connections and try again, or use -F to override
         this check.

never mind human error! I didn't have the 'Power target' on 😐
