Too many issues to run the python script

I'm trying to run the python code assistant.py, but after fixing a lot issues manually (e.g. changing the async() method to pn_async() and installing some dependencies) I've noticed that the Google Assistant Library for python is deprecated. Is this the reason why there's so many issues to try to run the python script?
