Core Pages

These pages should be translated first. These pages must be translated to be considered an official Gatsby localization.

API Reference

@maciekgrzybek I think we're going to remove the gatsby style guide from the list of core docs. Looking at it more it seems like it's mostly stuff that's relevant for english speakers (english grammar rules and information on writing new docs).

I think a more valuable thing would be to update this repo's style guide, by referencing the english version.

Hey @tesseralis I think that would make sense. I've already started to translating it and had similar thoughts. Plus I think new articles /docs will be written in English and then eventually translated to Polish anyway, am I right?

@maciekgrzybek yup! exactly.

@lekterable I'd be happy to help with part 4 of the tutorial.

@lekterable I see that docs/gatsby-cli has no assignee. Can I take it?

Go for it :)

Make sure you check readme :)

@lekterable anything I may help with?

@radkra pick whatever you want from the list and I'll assign it to you

@lekterable lets go straight down to first place on the list which is not taken, so: docs/recipes/pages-layouts

Could I help out with docs/recipes/styling-css?

I've started translating Gatsby API Reference, probably going to make a PR with docs/api-reference and docs/theme-api. Can I take it?

I would love to help with translation of docs/api-files and docs/api-files-gatsby-browser.

Ok, so now I think I would do the docs/gatsby-link :)

Would you mind if I take docs/recipes/working-with-starters and docs/recipes/working-with-themes? (Since the first one is quite short)

@AleksanderSkubala @AdamSiekierski @datejer I've updated the list :) For future, can we please pick up pages in order? Thanks :)

What would you say if I'll pick up docs/gatsby-image? 😄

Sure thing, go for it :)

Hi, I didn't noticed that i should pick page in order, but I've translated docs/recipes/deploying-your-site ,I promise to take next sites in order 😅

Hey, @marceleq27 don't worry about it, you don't have to take them in any order 😉. Letting everyone here know what are you currently working on is enough and can save us unnecessary confusion 🙂.

As I’m back into buisness, I would like to take docs/gatsby-config :)

Hi, i'll translate docs/index, cuz I think someone forgot about it

Next i'll take docs/api-files-gatsby-node

So I got one more page, which is docs/api-files-gatsby-ssr

Next will be docs/node-api-helpers

Hi, I'm taking docs/node-apis 🙂

I'm taking also docs/actions

Next I'll take docs/graphql-api 😛

Im taking docs/ssr-apis and docs/browser-apis 🙂

And now docs/api-files-gatsby-config 🙂

Im going for docs/node-model and docs/node-interface

Hi! Looks like it still needs some translations, but also seems a bit quiet in here. Is this issue up to date?
If so, I'm happy to take docs/recipes/sourcing-data/. :)

Hey @weronikadominiak! I've been contacting the Gatsby team, and as for now - the translations project is paused. The docs were being restructured, and they've just put the internationalisation aside - afaik it wouldn't be as beneficial for them and the community.

Because of that, no PR's are going to be merged for now. Also, the bot that's been kinda maintaining the translation repos has been shut off (or at least, the part responsible for the translations), which makes the whole process kinda wonky and not working as it should be.

Greetings!

All translations were paused or only polish? We've put in a lot of work to make this translations..., is there any plan to implement it?

@AdamSiekierski Understood. Thank you very much.

@marceleq27 All the translations 😞

@AdamSiekierski maybe it's worth it to put it in repo's readme / remove information about it from https://www.gatsbyjs.com/contributing/community/ ? That's how I got here.

Well, we can't really do anything with this repo for now (even though I've been added to code owners, I still can't merge the PR's). Maybe try to create an issue on the Gatsby's monorepo, and suggest the change in docs :)
