AVPlayer continues to play after seguing away from view controller

The sound from the videos continue to play, perhaps meaning it is not being garbage collected?
The current solution is pausing the AVPlayer . If it's not being discarded, that instance of the view is still in memory, meaning it's probably a memory leak.
Occurs in VideoPlayback and VideoTrimmer
