This is a simple implementation of the map reduce paradigm in python. Its Rpc mechanism from SimpleXMLRPCServer library of python
Just make a local copy of the repository, write the map and reduce functions and copy data into the data_folder. You are good to go.
Requires python version 2.7.* along with SimpleXMLRPCServer
